Quatrosafe Barriers have been designed and developed to offer fast, flexible, adaptable portable collective protection to guard against falls into open wells, shafts, excavations, and manholes found in everyday work where permanent handrails or other collective protection methods do not exist.
Quatrosafe Barriers are in daily use with numerous UK water companies and their supply chain partners offering a robust and stable guardrail assembled and put into use in a matter of minutes.
Manufactured throughout in lightweight Aluminium, the barrier can be assembled without the need for special tools consisting of just 11 component parts.
The use of Aluminium means that all parts are lightweight for transportation.
With the use of the unique (Quatroclamp) the Quatrosafe Barrier can also be used to form a continuous handrail barrier to edges where there is a suitable mounting point for the Quatroclamp.

Quatrosafe Barrier Storage Unit
The QuatroSafe Barrier Storage Unit provides secure storage and prevents damage to QuatroSafe barriers, whilst keeping all of the barrier components in one place.
Freestanding or can be wall-mounted. Fabricated from high strength steel sheet with a lockable/removable securing flap.
Step 1.
Load the fabricated end frames as pictured above.
Step 2.
Load the rails and legs into the profiled slots as pictured above.
Step 3.
The front flap is then fitted, and all the components are held in position by the addition of the front flap which can be locked for security purposes if required.

It comes as a single light weight unit that can easily be carried and erected by one person to guard openings commonly found in numerous process-treatment settings.

When carrying out routine or emergency work, frequently personnel are exposed to working at height fall risks presented by open hatches, temporary floor openings, and roof edges or they may need to temporarily restrict/prevent access to a work area – now the portable Quatrosafe Barrier System can now be connected to fixed site handrail systems for this purpose creating a robust and immoveable safety barrier.
